Excellent news this day for EE! Not only will the film be making it’s international premiere at the upcoming Dollar Baby festivals in Spain and Belgium, but also has just been accepted at the 2011 Ventura Film Festival! Finally a festival I can attend!
Stay tuned for when it will be screening during the festival, which goes from July 9th to the 18th!

A friend of mine back in Minnesota is doing a web-documentary series on DSLR cameras and featured EE in the second episode! Some good footage and interviews with myself and DP extraordinaire, Ben Efron.
Back in LA after my extensive holiday break in Sioux Falls and Fargo/Moorhead, I am happy to say that the film is so much closer to completion than ever before. While in the cold North, I had the opportunity to screen the film with everybody who helped make it and was glad to get positive feedback for the film. I also submitted the movie to the 11th annual Fargo Film Festival, which should be EE’s first festival should it be accepted!

The director’s move to Los Angeles hasn’t slowed him down any! Editing and sound are done on the movie and all that’s left is to finish up color-correction and putting it to music! Be sure to keep an eye out as the film should be finished and ready to send out to festival within the next month or so.

After a grueling shoot (I exaggerate), principal photography has finished! Now there is the capturing of additional dialogue and then post-production will be on its way!
